The Federal Government has been urged to conduct drug tests for all presidential candidates to ascertain their mental fitness and capabilities to manage the country.
A renowned socio-political activist and critic, Chief Adesunbo Onitiri, who gave the advice in a statement, yesterday in Lagos, recommended that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), should also conduct a diligent integrity test on the incoming president, governors and legislators to ensure that the electorate do not vote for corrupt individuals.
Onitiri, who called for restructuring of the country in view of the “lopsidedness of the present warped constitution that could not guarantee justice, equity and fair-play to various tribes that make up Nigeria, appealed to all Nigerians not to sell their votes for whatever reason.
He also urged them to procure their PVCs to enable them participate in the incoming elections.
