A 2023 presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has lashed out at the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, describing it as a failure.
Adamu submitted that President Buhari, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) snd all those working with him have failed Nigerians and plunged the country into greater problem than when they took over power in 2015.
He said they have become so disconnected from the people and the citizens now suffer poverty, economic hardship, insecurity and depression while the ruling class spend public money lavishly.

The National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has visited former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
Naija News reports Kwankwaso who is also a 2023 presidential aspirant of the NNPP visited the former Nigerian leader in the company of a former ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, Buba Galadima.
This online news platform reports the politicians met at the residence of Chief Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The Convener of Concerned Nigerians movement, Deji Adeyanju, has identified the top presidential aspirants in the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of the 2023 general election.
Adeyanju further stated that the former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi is the most popular candidate in the country.
He, however, stated that the three main candidates in the PDP by delegates power are Atiku Abubakar, Nyesome Wike and Aminu Tambuwal.
The activist claimed that the PDP Governors are divided between supporting Wike and Tambuwal, but there might be plans to unite to oppose Atiku.

Former chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba has submitted that many presidential aspirants of the party who paid N100million for the APC nomination and expression of interest forms are banking on the support of President Muhammadu Buhari to win the party primaries and the main election.
He however added that many of them would be shocked when they realize the support of the President is not enough to get the winning votes in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
According to Garba who spoke during an interview with Punch, things have changed and the signature of the President is no longer enough to win elections.
Garba who himself was an aspirant under the APC before dumping the party over the high cost of the forms submitted further that many of the aspirants know they won’t win the ticket but still went ahead to pay the huge sum for the forms so they can leverage on it to negotiate other positions or favours within the party.

President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Governors and some others might not be able to vote in primaries if the president fails to sign the amendment of the Electoral Act.
Recall that the National Assembly last week passed a bill which allows statutory delegates to vote in primaries, but President Buhari has failed to sign the bill.
The National Assembly had omitted statutory delegates from the list of delegates to vote at the primaries.
Those identified as ‘statutory delegates’ include the President, Vice President, Members of the National Assembly, Governors and their deputies, Members of the State Houses of Assembly, Chairmen of Councils, Councillors, and National Working Committee of political parties, amongst others.
The All Progressives Congress is expected to hold its presidential primaries on the 29th of May ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi on Friday told delegates of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, that he is more experienced than their governor, Yahaya Bello.
Amaechi, however, stated that Bello who has presidential ambition under the ruling party is entitled to run for president.
The presidential aspirant while addressing the delegates in Lokoja, the state capital, he promised to run an all-inclusive government.
